If life is art, so are our favorite recipes? | Mushroom Coffee Hot Cocoa

I’m sharing a recipe. Am I a food blogger now? No.

 

But I am obsessed with this cold weather drink. (I invented it, I think.)

 

It is sweet and rich and not going to poison your body.

 

I love sitting with a cup of this mushroom coffee hot cocoa–I could not come up with a more creative name–while I read and write. It is so good.

  • 1 ¾ C. milk
  • 2 ½ tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tsp mushroom coffee (or any instant coffee powder, but I have been loving Bunkell brand)
  • 3 tsp maple syrup

Stir together in a pan and heat on the stove at low-medium heat. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
